What location do you ship from?
Our facility is located in Southern California. This is where we pick, pack, and ship your items - all with the talent and speed of our rockstar Alter Hair team.
Where do you ship?
Alter Hair ships worldwide, but at this stage, we cannot ship to:
Balkans, Belarus, Burma, Cote d'Ivoire, Cuba, Democratic Republic of Congo, Iran, Iraq, Liberia, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, and Zimbabwe.
Do you ship orders to the UK & EU? If so, how will orders be shipped?
Yes, we ship to the UK & EU. To get your order to you, we've partnered with Passport Shipping and they will be the Seller for all orders to the UK for orders under £135 and orders to the EU for orders €150 and Under.
How long can I expect shipping to take?
Keep in mind that orders take between 1-5 days to process before they are shipped out to you unless it was a pre-order.
Shipping time varies depending on your location and the shipping option selected at checkout. Sometimes you need an order fast, and other times you don't mind waiting. Here are our current options:
Domestic Shipping:
Standard Shipping = 3-8 business days
International Shipping:
Standard International = 7-21 business days.
Free Shipping (for orders $80 USD or over!):
Standard Domestic Shipping = 3-8 business days
Please note: These indicated prices do not include international duties, taxes, or other customs charges that you may incur when it arrives at your destination. To find out more about your applicable taxes and duties, you can contact your customs agency officials. Alter Hair does not cover any of these separate charges, which vary according to the country.
I need to make a change to my order. Help!
Oh no! We get it; sometimes you are so excited to shop, you might make a mistake with your order.
If you need to change your order for any reason, please contact us as soon as possible at hi@shopalterhair.com with your order number. Please clearly list the changes you need.
We can't make any guarantees to make these changes depending on the order stage. If your order has already entered the "processing" stage or has already shipped, we are unable to make any changes.
I put the wrong address on my order. What do I do?
Don't worry, but act fast! Send us an email at hi@shopalterhair.com within an hour of your purchase. Please provide your order number and correct address, and we can fix it during business hours.
Please keep in mind that we can only correct this for you if the order has not started processing yet. Sometimes, these changes aren't possible depending on the time passed, current promotions or launches, or periods of high order volume.
If my order has shipped, can I still make changes to the order?
Unfortunately, Alter Hair cannot make any changes to an order that has already shipped. However, you may be able to contact the shipping service with the provided tracking number and ask them to change the delivery address for you.
I want my package! When will you ship my order?
We know you're just as excited to get your package as we are for you to open it! Every order's processing time varies depending on the number of items and how busy our order volume is at the time.
You should be able to expect 1-5 days for picking, processing, and packing to complete. Once your order is sent out, you'll receive an email notification with a tracking link. When that happens, you can start the countdown to happiness!
